10 Ways Parents Can Help Start the Year Off on a Positive Note!

• 1. Encourage Reading

  Reading is the foundation of all learning, and will assist development in every subject. Model reading and help develop good reading habits. If your child sees that you value reading, then they are more likely to read themselves. Be sure to discuss what your child is reading, and ask questions to develop comprehension skills.
